01Overview & scope

Scriptly is a free Discord bot that helps you discover scripts from ScriptBlox, RSScript, and RO Script. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you interact with Scriptly, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.

This policy applies to the Scriptly bot across all Discord servers where it is used. Scriptly is operated from Georgia, United States. It does not govern Discord or the external websites you visit through script results.

02Information we process

Scriptly processes only the information needed to respond to your commands. Processing information during a request is different from keeping a record of it: Scriptly does not retain user data or maintain search caches.

• Operational data

  Discord User IDs, Server (Guild) IDs, channel IDs, and interaction timestamps may be processed transiently to receive a slash command and deliver the response to the correct place.

• Search queries

  Search terms entered into script discovery commands are used to search the source websites and return results. These queries are not stored or cached by Scriptly.

03How we use data

Information processed during an interaction is used only to operate Scriptly and respond to your request.

• Deliver command results

  Search the script sources and return relevant results to the Discord interaction that requested them.

• Prevent abuse and spam

  Handle requests and temporary rate limits during operation without maintaining a retained user activity log.

• Maintain bot availability

  Handle command errors and request delivery so the bot can continue responding reliably.

04Third-party services

Scriptly relies on third-party services to provide its functionality. Those services operate independently and may process or retain information according to their own policies.

• Discord

  Discord’s platform APIs deliver slash-command interactions and bot responses. Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

• Script search sources

  ScriptBlox, RSScript, and RO Script receive the search terms needed to look up scripts. Scriptly does not need to send your Discord identity to these sources to perform a search.

• Outbound links

  Opening a result takes you to a third-party website. That website may receive your IP address, browser information, cookies, or other information directly from your browser. Its own privacy policy applies; Scriptly does not control its data practices or content.

05Data retention & security

Scriptly does not persist user data, keep operational or query logs, or maintain a search cache. Command information is processed transiently for the request and is not retained as a user record after the interaction is completed. There is therefore no multi-day log retention period.

Security practices appropriate to the service include encrypted HTTPS connections where supported, protecting bot credentials, and limiting access to the bot’s operation. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Discord, source websites, and infrastructure providers may independently keep service records under their own policies; Scriptly’s no-retention statement does not apply to those providers.

06Your rights & data deletion

You may contact us to request access to information about you, ask a privacy question, or request complete deletion of any personal data held by Scriptly. Email supportscriptly@gmail.com with the subject “Scriptly Privacy Request” and describe your request. Include your Discord User ID if relevant, but never send your password or bot tokens.

Because Scriptly does not retain user records, there will ordinarily be no stored personal data to provide or delete. We will explain what, if anything, is held and address your request in accordance with applicable law. We may need to verify that a request concerns your own information. Requests sent by email are handled by the email service separately from the bot.

You can stop future processing by not using Scriptly. Server administrators can remove the bot from their server. Requests concerning information held by Discord or a script source should be directed to that service.

07Children’s privacy

Scriptly is intended only for people who meet Discord’s minimum age requirements: at least 13 years old and any higher minimum age required in their country. Scriptly is not directed to children below that age.

We do not knowingly collect or retain personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. If you believe a child’s personal information has been provided to us, contact supportscriptly@gmail.com so we can investigate and delete any information we hold, where applicable.

08Changes & contact

We may update this policy if Scriptly’s functionality, data practices, or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be available on this page, with its effective date updated. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate bot or support channel where feasible.
